General Terms & Conditions

Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, quotations, agreements, and operations provided by AKN TRANSPORT LOGISTIX, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If any section becomes invalid, the remaining sections remain effective.

Definitions

  • Client: Any person or business requesting our services.
  • Company: AKN TRANSPORT LOGISTIX.
  • Services: Freight forwarding, transport, warehousing, customs support, logistics consultancy, and related solutions.
  • Goods: Products, cargo, materials, and related documents entrusted to us.

Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are subject to availability and valid for a limited period unless stated otherwise. Prices may change due to fuel costs, freight rates, customs duties, taxes, exchange rates, or other market factors.

Orders & Agreements

An agreement becomes effective once a quotation is accepted or services are confirmed by both parties.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding goods, shipment details, documents, customs declarations, and delivery instructions. The client is responsible for lawful packaging, labeling, and compliance with regulations.

Service Performance

AKN TRANSPORT LOGISTIX will perform services with professional care and may use trusted third-party carriers, warehouses, or agents when required.

Delivery & Transit Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Warehousing & Storage

Stored goods remain at the client’s risk unless otherwise agreed. Storage fees, handling charges, or additional services may apply.

Customs & Compliance

Customs clearance services are based on information supplied by the client. The client remains responsible for the accuracy of all declarations, duties, taxes, and regulatory compliance.

Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within the agreed payment period stated on the invoice. Late payments may result in additional charges or suspension of services.

Liability Limitation

Our liability is limited to direct loss caused by proven negligence and subject to applicable transport laws and conventions. We are not liable for indirect losses, delays beyond our control, or force majeure events.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including weather, strikes, port congestion, war, pandemics, government actions, or transport disruptions.

Insurance

Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless specifically requested and confirmed in writing.

Right of Retention

We may retain goods or documents until outstanding invoices, charges, or fees are fully paid.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

All business information shared between both parties will be handled confidentially and processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Cancellation

Cancellation of confirmed services may result in charges for costs already incurred or work already completed.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the operating jurisdiction of AKN TRANSPORT LOGISTIX.
